What Happens on Sunday Morning at The Bridge?

Thanks for taking an interest in The Bridge! For our Sunday morning services at the Bridge, we have a coffee available, so the first thing many people do when the come is grab a coffee. Children ages 6 months to 11 years then head off to FaithQuest, which is our children’s ministry.

At 10:30 our worship service starts. We have a full band on stage, and our song leader will usually lead everyone in some upbeat singing (5-6 songs.) After the worship part of our service, we have an offering which is an opportunity to give, and then we have a time of announcements. Then a 10 minute (or so) break to stretch, grab a coffee, and chat with friends and people you meet.

After break our Pastor or another leader will preach an inspiring sermon that connects Biblical principles to everyday application (usually 45-60 minutes). We try to be done around 12:15pm, which gives you time to hit up your favorite Medicine Hat restaurant for lunch (hopefully with a friend or another family from church!)

What Kind of People Will You Meet?

You know, there’s a good chance you’ll likely meet people just like yourself! That’s because we have people from all walks of life, and all ages at our church. We have many young families, quite a few young adults, and many couples with older children or in retirement age. We think you’ll find us friendly, interesting, and not weird at all (not that there’s anything wrong with weird:) We love making new friends, and will welcome the chance to meet you and get to know you better!

What Should You Wear?

Please wear clothes! Whatever you feel comfortable in. Many of us wear jeans and a T-shirt, casual shirt or blouse to church, while others like to dress up a bit more. Honestly, church is a time to connect to God and to others, and the last thing we want is for someone to be stressed out about what they’re wearing. After reading this, if you’re still not sure, put on similar clothes that you would wear if you were eating at Earls or Montana’s. ‘Nuff said.
